The City of Conroe is home of Montgomery County Animal Control Authority. Do not try to feed, pet, or interact with an unknown animal without the permission of the owner. It is unlawful for the owner of a dog or other animal to allow the animal to cause a disturbance by barking excessively near another individuals private residence. The animal ownership limitation includes six domestic dogs or six domestic cats or a combination of the species, not exceeding six. If the animal cant be located, post-exposure rabies shots are of utmost importance.
